The International Academic Forum (IAFOR) in partnership with Waseda University (Japan), Birkbeck University of London (UK), The National Institute of Education (Singapore), The National University of Tainan (Taiwan), University of Lincoln (UK), the Hong Kong Institute of Education, Auburn University (USA), and its global partners is proud to announce the Inaugural European Conference on Sustainability, Energy and the Environment to be held from July 11-14 2013, in Brighton, UK.

CONFERENCE THEME: "Sustainability, Society and the Environment: Searching for Synergies"

Sustainability has emerged as the most important global issue for business, industry, government, and academia, and yet to begin with sustainability was associated only with environmental concerns such as energy and global warming. It is now recognized that the concept of sustainability is applicable to all areas of human society, for example in terms of social/economic justice, or responsible business practice. Issues such as poverty, hunger, education, health care, and access to markets should be a part of the evolution of any comprehensive sustainability paradigm as we work together to achieve a sustainable future. ECSEE 2013 will address these various dimensions of human sustainability as we invite scholars from around the world to address questions and search for synergies and solutions to the complex issues surrounding sustainability in a forum encouraging serious and thoughtful exchange between academics, members of the global business community, and practitioners in the fields of human endeavor that link these. We call on scientists from around the globe to meet and share our respective outlooks and collective wisdom on a critical issue of common concern: the pursuit of a sustainable world.

It is a sincere hope that attendees will use this time together, not just for intellectual discovery and discourse, but to establish a common vision and to motivate each other to do our part in the creation of a better world. We greatly appreciate your attendance and encourage your active engagement throughout the conference.

ECSEE/ECSS 2013 Keynote Speaker - Jun Arima

Jun Arima is Director General of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) in London, seconded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI). From 1992 he served in the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy (ANRE). In 1996, he was sent to the OECD as Councilor (energy advisor), to the Permanent Delegation of Japan. He served in senior positions in ANRE following his return to Japan. From 2002, he spent four years in Paris as Head of the Country Studies Division for the International Energy Agency (IEA). His activities in international climate and energy issues have seen him recognised internationally, most recently as Japan's chief negotiator at the UN Climate Talks in Cancun, Mexico in 2010.

Publishing Opportunities

Authors of Accepted Abstracts will have the opportunity of publishing their associated paper in the official conference proceedings, and a selection of papers will be considered for inclusion in the internationally reviewed IAFOR journals associated with the conference.

ECSEE 2013 will be held alongside the Inaugural European Conference on the Social Sciences (ECSS 2013), and registrants for either conference will be given the opportunity to attend sessions in the parallel event at no extra charge.

برگزاری مجدد آزمون آیلتس توسط دانشگاه آزاد

رییس مرکز آزمون دانشگاه آزاد با اشاره به برگزاری آزمون آیلتس، گفت: این آزمون ویژه متقاضیان آکادمیک 21 اردیبهشت ماه برگزار می‌شود.

به گزارش سرویس دانشگاهی خبرگزاری دانشجویان ایران (ایسنا)، دکتر ناصر اقبالی با اعلام این خبر، گفت: ثبت‌نام این آزمون (آیلتس آکادمیک) از اول اردیبهشت آغاز شده و تا ساعت 10 صبح روز جمعه ششم اردیبهشت ماه ادامه دارد، بنابراین متقاضیان آزمون IELTS آکادمیک می‌توانند از هم‌اکنون پس از اطمینان از فعال بودن پروفایل خود بر روی وب سایت Ielts.iauset.com نسبت به ثبت‌نام خود اقدام کنند.

وی افزود: به داوطلبان توصیه می‌شود در اسرع وقت پس از رزرو آزمون اقدام به ثبت‌نام قطعی در آزمون کنند، بنابراین اگر داوطلبی در موعد مقرر ثبت‌نام نکند از لیست رزرو آزمون حذف می‌شود.

اقبالی در مورد مکان برگزاری آزمون، گفت: ثبت‌نام شدگان قطعی آزمون 21 اردیبهشت ماه باید برای شرکت در آزمون به انتهای پل دوم حافظ، روبروی تالار بورس، ساختمان فرهیختگان مراجعه کنند.

رییس مرکز آزمون در پایان، گفت: در حال حاضر بزرگترین مجری رسمی IELTS در ایران دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی است که از طریق واحدهای دانشگاه آزاد در شهرهای تهران، شیراز، رشت و کرمانشاه این آزمون برگزار می‌شود، بنابراین داوطلبان می‌توانند جهت اطلاع از آخرین اخبار در این زمینه و یا زمان برگزاری آزمون‌های بعدی به سایت اطلاع رسانی مرکز آزمون به نشانی www.pubr-azmoon.com مراجعه کنند، همچنین چنانچه با ابهامی مواجه شدند در بخش پرسش و پاسخ سایت سوال خود را مطرح کرده تا کاربران در اسرع وقت پاسخ دهند.
