All conference submissions will be double blind peer-refereed by members of the Academic Summit Review Committee. Authors will be notified of the review outcome within 2-3 weeks after the arrival of their submissions.

FULL PAPERS submitted by JUNE 1ST, 2014 will be considered for publication in one of the double-blind, peer-refereed Journals Sponsoring 2014 ISIS-Venice ITALY International Multidisciplinary Academic Summit or the refereed Conference Proceedings with ISBN number. The authors of these articles will receive their publications in person while still attending the International Academic Summit in Venice (one copy per a registered participant will be provided free of charge).

Authors of ABSTRACTS submitted by JUNE 20TH, and which would meet the selection criteria of the Academic Summit Review Committee, will be given the chance to present their work in progress at the 2014 International Multidisciplinary Academic Summit in Venice. These abstracts will be published in a separate section of the refereed Proceedings with ISBN number. If the authors decide to complete their work in progress after the end of the Academic Summit in Venice, they could also submit their COMPLETED PAPERS by September 15th, 2014, in order to be considered for publication in a later issue of one of the double-blind, peer-refereed ISIS Journals .

Authors, who could NOT travel to Venice for visa or other reasons, may PARTICIPATE VIRTUALLY in the Venice Academic Summit, and these authors will have the same publication opportunities, as the regular conferences' presenters.

آغاز به کار نخستین کنگره بین المللی تخصصی علوم زمین در دانشگاه یزد

سی و دومین گردهمایی و نخستین کنگره بین المللی عناصر نادر خاکی با همکاری مشترک دانشکده معدن و متالورژی و گروه زمین شناسی دانشگاه یزد و سازمان زمین شناسی و اکتشافات معدنی کشوربه میزبانی دانشگاه یزد آغاز به کار کرد.

به گزارش گروه دانشگاه خبرگزاری آنا، سیدمحمدتقی الحسینی المدرسی معاون پژوهش و فناوری دانشگاه یزد درمراسم افتتاحیه این کنگره به دوعامل اصلی درانتخاب استان و دانشگاه یزد برای برگزاری این کنگره اشاره کرد و گفت: موقعیت جغرافیایی استان یزد و امکانات و توانمندی های دانشگاه یزد باعث شد تا این دانشگاه به عنوان میزبان اولین کنگره بین المللی تخصصی علوم زمین انتخاب شود.

الحسینی المدرسی موقعیت جغرافیایی استان یزد را بسیار خاص توصیف کرد که با وجود کمبود شدید آب، از لحاظ تنوع و حجم معادن بسیار غنی است.

وی برای نمونه به معادن سنگ آهن و سرب و روی استان اشاره کرد و افزود: خوشبختانه استان یزد با بهره مندی ازمجموعه های صنعتی مختلف نظیر فولاد آلیاژی، تولید چدن و شمش روی، گام های مؤثری را هم درراستای فرآوری وارزش افزوده مواد خام معدنی و اشتغال‌زایی برداشته است.

وی همچنین با بیان اینکه دانشگاه یزد از امکانات و توانمندی‌های خاصی در زمینه علوم مرتبط با معدن و زمین شناسی برخوردار است، توسعه تحصیلات تکمیلی در دانشکده معدن و متالورژی و ارتباطات گسترده این دانشکده با سازمان‌ها و صنایع ذی ربط استان را از جمله مزیت ها و فرصت‌های ارزشمند برای توسعه و ارتقای تحقیقات علمی ذکر کرد.

در ادامه مجیدی دبیر علمی کنگره نیز درسخنان کوتاهی تهیه نقشه راه برای استفاده از پتانسیل‌های موجود و کانسارهای کم عیار را به عنوان هدف اصلی کنگره ذکر کرد و اظهار داشت: از تعداد 120 مقاله‌ ارسال شده به دبیرخانه‌ کنگره تعداد 40 مقاله به صورت سخنرانی، پوستر و چاپ درمجموعه مقالات کنگره پذیرفته شده است.

مجیدی همچنین از چاپ مقالات برگزیده این کنگره در مجله تخصصی علوم زمین خبرداد.

محمدمهدی زارعی رییس خانه صنعت، معدن و تجارت استان یزد سخنران دیگر مراسم افتتاحیه این کنگره بود که درسخنان خود به رتبه های چهارم، دوم و دهم استان یزد به ترتیب در سه بخش صنعت، معدن و تجارت در سطح کشور اشاره و تأکید کرد: استان یزد با استفاده بهینه از توانمندی های موجود، جذب سرمایه‌ها و بهره مندی از توان فکری و اجرایی نخبگان و نیروهای علمی خود به این موفقیت ها دست یافته است.

وی اعلام کرد: درحال حاضر 3400 واحد صنعتی در استان یزد به بهره برداری رسیده است و برای اکتشاف و بهره برداری از 30 ماده معدنی شناخته شده در سطح این استان تاکنون 750 پروانه صادر شده است.

در این مراسم همچنین دو تن از نمایندگان مؤسسات همکار و حامیان مالی کنگره در سخنرانی‌های جداگانه بر ضرورت توسعه تحقیقات علمی برای فرآوری مواد معدنی در داخل کشور و لزوم حمایت مالی و پشتیبانی از آن تأکید کردند.

گفتنی است این کنگره با ارائه مقالات و سخنرانی های تخصصی و انجام بازدیدهای علمی به مدت دو روز در یزد برگزار می شود.
