Dear Colleagues,

We are happy to share with you that the proceedings of ICESI 2019 has been included in the IEEE database. The process of Inclusion in IEEE database is very selective and competitive. Therefore, you are encouraged to submit your research to ICESI and please carefully follow the IEEE instruction (shown on the conference website). If your paper does not fit in the format required by the IEEE, your paper will not be included in the IEEE database.

We, ICESI conference chair – Dr. Yannick Le Moullec (Tallinn University of Technology), local committee chair – Dr. Jianming Shi (Tokyo University of Science), and local secretariat - Dr. Fion Yang (Waseda University), sincerely welcome you to attend ICESI which will take place at Tokyo University of Science on August 22-24, 2019.

ICESI provides not only academic platforms, but also opportunities for international and interdisciplinary collaboration. Therefore, during the three-day conference, all participants will have plenty of opportunities for exchanging ideas, findings and the latest research results, engaging in many academic and industry events, and meeting peers from different countries. A campus tour and local tour are also arranged. We believe that participants can share their viewpoints from different perspectives and be exposed to a cross-domain communicating and learning atmosphere through this interdisciplinary joint conference. Abstract/Paper Submission Due Date: March 31, 2019

Except for being indexed in IEEE, we will also send the conference proceedings to ISI office to be possibly indexed in the Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI). Please note that ISI office welcomes all submissions but there is no guarantee of inclusion in CPCI. Inclusion in CPCI is selective and competitive, while not all-inclusive. Last year at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand, the conference received over 350 submissions and slightly over 200 delegates from 31 countries participated. Accordingly, worldwide participants in 2019 are expected to reach 350 persons from over 30 countries. Because ICESI is a peer-reviewed conference, all submissions will go through an anonymous review process.
